If You Would, Please Pray For Me...
Hi everyone, I suffered a serious fall in 2009. I thought I was OK for the first 2 years, then in 2011, I developed severe pain. Due to medical indifference and I had no insurance, I just got my first MRI a couple of weeks ago, and I saw my doctor today. She said that something in the lining of my hip "has ragged edges because it has been torn for a long time", and suggested I file for disability. I am in deep shock about now, and trying to figure out what to do about all this. Thanks...

I saw my Primary Dr yesterday, she is a treasure. She thinks I may be permanently disabled... It was clear she was troubled by the MRI results. She's putting me in for a high priority appt to see a specialist. There isn't much I can do in the mean time, but I did get the paperwork for a handicapped card for the windshield so at long last I can park close to the door every time. I am shaken and a little scared, because it's been torn for years and I don't know what that will mean for the long term. I haven't worked since 2010, I tried a couple of years back and lasted 3 days. I had been hoping, and still do, that I can someday go back to work. I miss working and being active. Crocheting has gone a long way to keep me sane over the years... I often feel so useless. Prayer gets me through too. Thank you for your prayers. I'll update this when I get in to see the orthopedic dr. I just hope whoever it is will finally take this seriously. It's as bad as it is now because they kept blowing me off.

I am praying that God gives you guidance and peace. It is a difficult decision and I know, from experience, that sometimes it is a choice between bad and worse. Blessings and peace! We are praying for you!
