Heart-Shaped Trellis Is Returned

My Heart-Shaped Trellis...

Yesterday, the lawn service guys came to replace some St. Augustine grass in one area of my yard along with digging up two of my lovely rose bushes that didn't survive the winter. They were many years old! One was a gift to myself, a Puerto Rican rose bush and the other, a Tiffany rose bush was one of a pair that my precious late husband gave me.

As usual, the men did an excellent job. After inspecting their work and returning inside with a huge smile, I was content and moving on with my day. My older daughter and I began talking about the work that was done, when I suddenly realized something was missing. It was my metal heart-shaped trellis! It is 4 ft. tall and was intwined in the Puerto Rican rose bush.

I went in search of it, checking every nook and cranny in the backyard 2 times over. It was no where to be found! Immediately, I called the owner of the company. He contacted the men and he called me shortly after. He said they thought it was a piece of trash.smh It's a beautiful piece of art and would be difficult to replace. No harm was done to it and it was returned today. My older daughter gave me this 4 ft tall metal heart-shaped trellis many years ago. It was a Mother's Day gift and has great sentimental value!

I'm so glad to see my heart-shaped trellis again!!!

I added " garden jewelry" to the trellis. It consists of a butterfly and baubles hanging from the plant holder of the trellis.
