making a graph
Guess what!!! I made a discovery for myself... and maybe you too! I never did much embroidery or cross-stitching by a graph. I needed one now but didn't exactly know how to go about making one. Then a big light bulb went off in my head! I printed a picture of the item to be cross-stitched and I had some blank graph paper. In fact I have 2 sizes of graph paper....(small squares and the other is bigger squares). I just placed the picture in the printer and placed a page of the size graph paper I wanted to use on top of a few regular printer papers and printed the picture on the graph paper.! Now I have the pattern for the picture I want to cross-stitch on graph paper! Maybe you already have done that but I never had and was totally blown away when I discovered it was that simple! Hope this was helpful to someone else! Love ya'all! Patty

You can also upload your picture to this website and print out the graph...there are 3 sizes to choose from I believe.
