I made these but don't have any powdered sugar so I looked up a recipe and found one:sugar and cornstarch for powdered sugar but I found I didn't have any cornstarch but I didn't find anything but saw something about flour and sugar so I put flour and sugar in the blender and mixed it and used that.

The cough-drops haven't hardened yet. I have them on wax paper on a cookie sheet and on foil. They are what you would call a soft stage. I hope they don't take too long to harden.

It's a sticky mess but they taste good. I sprinkled more than a light dusting of flour and sugar mixed together on the cough drops.

I ended up putting the cough drops together in a container and put it in the frig. I didn't want to leave it on the counter.
