Talking New to the forum, not crochet!

Hey everyone! I have been crocheting, leisurely, for about 2 years now, and just wanted a place to talk about it and not get goofy looks from my hubby! I'll try and post some pics later, when I have a bit more time. Anyway, thanks for having me, and I hope to fit in just fine here!!!

Good to know! I just created another thread about tunisian hooks. I'm having a slight crisis trying to decide which I should get.

Thanks AudreyL, I do have another thread on this, but it hasn't seen much attention. I wonder if you have had experience in your 40yrs with carbonized bamboo hooks vs plastic ones? I'm looking to get a set of tunisian hooks, but I'm not sure what would be better.

I use mostly Susan Bates needles. I like the carbonized needles. If you are doing a blanket I would get the longest one they have so you have the freedom of moving your work on them. They are hard to find you might have to send for them. I will check my books and let you know the lenght and prize of them
