Hello everyone, just thought I'd introduce myself, I just joined the group. I have been crocheting for about 3 years. When I started, I just wanted my sister to show me how to crochet a dishcloth because I LOVE crocheted dishcloths. I never intended to learn anything else. But as soon as she taught me a couple of basic stitches, I was totally hooked (no pun intended, ha!), and it is now, besides reading, my favorite hobby. I quickly jumped in and learned everything I could, and have enjoyed making presents for many friends and loved ones, as well as teaching a couple of classes to a group of ladies from church. I am currently working on an expert level doily for a dear friend's wedding gift, which is why I joined the group - I'm stuck on row 13! I posted about that in a different thread.

Anyway, a little about me: my husband and I have been married just over 9 years, and he has just graduated from college (finally! Yay!!), and we are in the process of job hunting, and could end up anywhere, we are searching all over the U.S. and would love to go international as well! We are originally from Alaska and are currently headed back up there while we wait to hear back from companies we've applied to. Exciting, and stressful times! Glad to be part of the group!
