    The rug is an interlocking pattern and the spread is 8x7 12" squares.

    Hi Nita2, What pretty afghan and Rug. Rug is it hard, dont recognize pattern?? Lots of time in Both.

    Hi Susan and thank you , yes there is a lot of time in both. About a month for the afghan , not quite as long for the rug. The rug is an interlocking pattern. Two layers worked together. It is an interesting technique.

    Hi crochetdiva and thankyou, the rug is done in interlocking technique. It is actually only double crochet mesh. Two layers worked together. I bought a book by Tanis Galik. It is a very interesting technique to work with. there are so many different patterns.
