I a new member. I am recently retired and loving every moment. Writing has long been my favorite hobby, but crochet is a new passion. Years ago, I taught myself the basics of crochet and even knitted a little but that was YEARS ago, so I am rusty and have completely forgotten how to knit. I crocheted a calf-length duster last year, which is much admired by my friends. I will post a picture of it after I become more familiar with how to use this site. I have tried crocheting baby shoes and am a miserable failure, as well as with the cute little amigurumi pets. I have been reading your posts, the grief, the joys, the prayers, and already feel like I am a member of your families. I look forward to hearing from you on this forum!

Thanks Larisa! I don't crochet doilies but I collect antique ones when I find them. Right now I am working on a mermaid tote bag.

have you seen Antique Pattern Library Antique Pattern Library There are lots of nice patterns. I use to rechart some of them for my filet pieces. I would like to see pictures of your works == Larisa
