    I know! I use tote bags on bookshelves and the yarn in them is in clear plastic bags, but using a big china cab was nice, and I just like seeing the unique ideas ppl think of, you never know when it;ll give you an idea! I wish I had enough shelves that I could lay my skeins out to see all the colors and put the balls of them in clear drawers! You never know when you might find a piece of used furniture or inherit a piece that is perfect for pretty yarn storage.

    But remember that for long term storage and to be safe for short term, the Craft Yarn Council recommends wrapping yarn in acid free tissue paper!
