    Hello

    I am new here. Bit, I am not new to crocheting, I have been crocheting since I was 8 years old. I learned from my grandmother. I am now 47. I have been fighting an illness for 27 yrs. In 2010, I started to crochet blankets "a lot" and give them to others who are sick, disabled and homeless. I made a total of 97 blankets from Jan 1 thru November of that year with help of someone who donated money for yarn every month. Now its been a while and my benefactor can't help so now I only do one blanket every three months or so. The high that you feel as your walking g away from someone who has a look of disbelief on their face with someone giving them something as nice as the big blanket was very addicting.
    Not many now but all I can say is WOW!!! It never looses the feeling. Feels great if not more than it did the first time.
    There are nights when I am either sick or in so much pain, is the only thing that crocheting helps me slow my mind and forget about how I'm feeling and go back to sleep. It works great for therapy. With being sick and disabled you can see I have all the time in the world since I can't work. The biggest blessing is making something out of love and Passing it on...
