My Irish grandmother taught me to crochet when I was nine year old and I've been crocheting since. First it was lacy edgings on pillow cases and tea towels, on to dollies, and for the last 30 years afghans. I like designs that are interesting to crochet such as designs and such. At the moment I'm looking for a sunflower granny square design for an afghan to use up some of my gold yarn I have laying around. I meet with a small group of ladies on Thursday night at the Methodist Church across the street for a hour and a half of hook and yarn fun and girl talk. What fun! Meeting all of you will be a real joy. I'm 66 years old now and retired.
Photo is an afghan I completed a couple of weeks ago and now ready to finish another one.

Yes. I'm just learning how this crochet talk format works so I'm not very good at finding the place to post a photo. I was going to attach of picture of myself but can't find or how to do that either.
