Crochet in the dark

Ever wish you could crochet in the dark? It's 2:45 am and I can't sleep and I'm itching to get back to my crochet project. Instead here I am on my kindle searching the internet for something to do. We only heat the bedrooms at night so it is too cold to crochet in the living room. Don't want to turn the heater on just for me. I do have light up hooks but they really only work on dark yarn, for me anyway. Oh well.

It would be nice to be able to crochet in the dark, or even in your sleep!

Personally, I have not tried the light up crochet hooks, but have heard of many who use them.

I have a pair of glasses that has lights in the front on both bows they work great. bought them at Kinney Drugs

Hi Debbie, why not treat yourself once in a while and heat up the living room so you can crochet? You deserve it! You'll go to sleep happy once you've done what you enjoy. I recently bougt some lite up hooks, but have only used them at night on turquoise yarn. I haven't tried them to see if they work on light yarn.
