    double "O" bob (it's a long story)

    Just Started.
I've been crocheting longer than I can remember.
Going to be bed riden for at least two months.
Looking for patterns to keepo me from going stir crazy.
    Looks like the place.

Bob, what kind of patterns do you want, afghans or shawls and scarves, or baby things? You can go on line and get into Red Heart.com or Lionbrand Yarns and get a lot of different things to make. And you can print everything from those. How are you going to get yarn to work with? What part of the country are you in? All of us will help any way we can.

Hello and welcome to the group! I live in Alabama and I'm sorry you're going to have to rest for the next couple of months. There are lots of great beginner patterns online. Check out YouTube for creating different stitches. I love Pinterest! Just type in Free Beginner Crochet Patterns and you'll be surprised at what comes up.

Let us know what kinds of patterns you're looking for and we'll be glad to help!

    Take good care of yourself.

Welcome OObob! When your incapacitated in some way doing something that can take your mind off the health issue. I had a knee replacement a few years ago, it slows you down and I was going stir crazy. A friend started me on to crocheting. It helps.
