Hello, my name is Dorothy Savage and I have been crocheting and knitting since I was 7 years old - my Grandma did both and taught me because I loved watching her make things. My first crochet project was a ripple doll afghan. My first knitting project was a scarf. Over the years I have made over 30 afghans, many baby afghans, many scarfs for adults and children. I should have kept track but didn't. I have knitted and crocheted for 50+ years. I have also taught several people to knit and crochet. I have also knitted over 100 dish clothes and donated them to a local Christian Camp for their bazaar each December. They have become a hot item at the bazaar. I also held a full time job as Secretary/Administrative Assistant for 43 years. I have been in two bad car accidents- the last one in March 2010 and I am on disability now from injuries and arthritis.
