    Smile Wonderful Beginner Crochet Resource!

I just found the very best site yet for beginning crocheters: http://www.readcrochetpatterns.com/rcp/basics/. The site admin, Judy Obee, is a certified instructor at the Craft Yarn Council of America. I'm going through the granny squares tutorial and what I love about this is that not only the HOW of each step is explained, but the WHY. I cannot just "push a button" without knowing WHY I'm pushing it and how it works in the whole of things.

The sad thing is that I cannot find anything about or by Judy past 2013. I hope she is OK.

    Anyway, just wanted to share.

    Happy crocheting, my friends!

That is a wonderful source for beginners or to use just for a reference, especially the abbreviations and explanation for repeats. Thanks for sharing the link. I hope a lot of our new members will see this and be able to use it.
