crochet heart pattern

Hi! I have just started to crochet. I learned to do an afgan stitch the ripple I believe it was called about 30 years ago when my daughter was born. I put it away and now am reteaching myself how to do it again. Having lots of fun! I just finished a pair of slippers for my grandson and am attempting to crochet with thread. Looking for a heart pattern to put a penny in for my daughter's garter. She is getting married in June. I have seen this before...but can't find a pattern.

Welcome to the Forum! I found patterns for Penny holders at enfys.me.uk/freepennies.htm. There isnt a heart here but you may be able to adapt it to a heart!
