    I see... that's a good book about how crochet helped that lady. Here is a good related article I posted in early blog posts about that you might like Susan, it's been proven scientifically and in real life how crochet, knitting and even other crafts can help many illnesses including ADD &, depression, as well as fighting loneliness & boredom. A lot of people message me to tell me that crochet is their therapy too, since I told how it helps me deal with chronic pain by focusing and getting deeply involved in it, trying not to focus on pain. Illness is still there of course but it helps to have something I enjoy, especially when I can't sleep!
    I've always done hand craft and needlepoint work, I guess it's always helped me when I thought I was just enjoying it for fun!
