    Smile Need help on hat with brim

    Hi everyone! I am new to crochet and need help on Crochet Geek Hat with Brim. My daughter in law has a larger than average woman's head. I just finished increasing to 60 stitches and the circle now measures 8 inches diameter. Will it continue to increase in diameter as I work? This is my first hat. Thanks!

    No it won't continue increase in diameter. You've made the crown part for the top of her head. Now you just crochet around without increasing any stitches. One stitch for each stitch in the row before. As you crochet now it'll start to "cup" and go down to fit over her head. Don't increase anymore stitches now.
