So sorry to hear that. I thought everybody learned to read directions before they can read charts.

A dear friend of mine had crocheted eversince she was a young girl, she made the most beautiful items all kinds of doilies, tablecloths and afghans, and she couldn't read directions either but it didn't stop her, she could look at a crocheted item and could then make it. I have to have a pattern but wish I could crochet without a pattern.
She past away last year.

Thanks choiyuk96 for the link! I'm a doily fanatic! I can work with written or chart, but like the chart best. I think I could figure out a doily pattern given some time and patience. And maybe a magnifying glass. Ha! Linda
