Hello, I am new to this site.. Hope everyone is good day.. Thank you for accepting me as a member.. I just started crocheting again after a long time not doing it. I needed to start it as a de-stressor..
I have crocheted over 100 hats of which I donated to the Smilow CANCER Hospital at the Yale Children's Hospital.. My grandson was diagnosed with stage 3 brain Cancer at 4 mths. He has had the tumor removed undergone 76 weeks of chemo. Today he will be 3 in December and starting preschool as well..

Hello and welcome to the group it is such a pleasure to meet you. I am so happy your grandson is doing well. My youngest grandson has been diagnosed with brittle bone disease and some other disease. He is going to start some medication next month to help his bones. He has already lost some teeth because of the disease but they say this medicine he is going on will strengthen his second teeth. He is only a year old.
