Linked Stitches

I was just wondering what everyone's feelings are on using the Linked Stitch? I have made a scarve with it.
If you haven't seen it you can find it on YouTube, and watch the videos. I like the stitch because it attaches each stitch together and makes a tighter weave for projects that need that. It is a little slower to work on however.

I have wanted to make a purse for some time now but I don't have a working sewing machine any longer to make a liner for it, and I am wondering if this stitch would be tight enough to work. Hmmmm. May have to make something small to check that out.

I have never used that type of stitch before but it sounds interesting. I might have to check that one out
