Celtic mosiac throw

I am recently been introduced to this mosiac way of crocheting.
I found a really cool picture, i wish to attempt.

Does anyone have a pattern for the "celtic mosiac throw"
It is done by "lily chan".
I don't know how to post a picture (but imagine interlocking pipes).
