    Wiggly Work

I just love the look of that cushion/pillow.
Someone would be VERY happy to get that as a gift. The problem is, it takes long time to do that.

Hi Polishgirl. This is actually an old vintage "wiggly" pattern. It was very popular many many years ago. Women would crochet it out of crochet thread, into a square, and use it as a trivet / potholder. My mom had several of them when I was growing up.

Thank you for sharing the pattern!

    Hello Shelley
I do have to admit the trivet/potholder would be very nice. According to me, that would have to be for decoration only!. It probably would "break my heart" if I would put sooo much work to that and someone would start picking up hot maybe dirty pots with that. Same would go for a trivet. I think all that nice standing up "cushiony" work would just get "smashed". And that would not be good according to me! LOL.
I am serious, I wouldn't like that. Would you?.
