My first Doily
This was my first attempt at making a doily. I got the pattern from an Old Workbasket magazine. My mother remembers her mom getting those when she was a child and her mom always loved the pineapple stitch. Mom adores this and I'm happy she does, however, he eyesight is not good so she can not see the tons of mistakes I made in learning how to do this. Was a great learning experience.

Your doily is very pretty it looks like a good job to me especially for a first try. I don't think I could make one as nice!! Have a good day!! Hugs Winnie
