Hello from Coastal NC
My name is Debra and I live on the coast of NC. I have been an crocheter since the age of 3. My great grandmother taught me to crochet despite the fact that she was blind. I can still remember her making me take out an entire piece to correct my mistakes. Thank goodness she took the time to teach me.

My great-grandmother lost her eye sight while she was still a very young woman. She taught me to sew, tat, quilt, knit, spin thread, all the as she would say "the womanly" arts while my late grandmother had me fishing and hunting. Quite a diverse up bringing.
