I have the 365 Crochet Stitches a Year Perpetual Calendar by Rita Weiss and Jean Leinhauser and this book is a compilation of the exact stitches in the calendar, except the book lists them by category and the calendar is a flip type by date and not categorized. Pictures and patterns are the same, even in colors.

With that said, if you don't have the calendar, this is definitely a book to add to your collection. The directions are concise, the color photographs highlight each stitch.

Hi Charlye, I live in Glenview IL. I never been in Rockford, I don't even know where it is. All I know about Rockford, is: that each time I am going to Medevil Times ( that is in Shamburg IL). I turn from 294 tallway to expressway that says:" to Rockford". How far do you think Rockford is from O'Hare airport?.

Hi Susan, that looks like a good book to have. I probably should get that. Lately I been crocheting mostly amigurumi. And for that only sc is important..LOL. I did "forgot" how to crochet many other stitches.
    Thanks
