Simple answer for simple question

I'm looking to make a swim suit cover up but not sure as to what type of yarn to use. Some of the patterns I have use discontinued yarn. Would like to substitute but unsure of what to use. Any one have any suggestions? Thank you!!! Lisa

If you can find a comparable yarn to the discontinued ones, you may be able to do a gauge and see how you like the way it works up. What type of yarn was discontinued?

Hi! I think a cotton yarn would be a good choice. It would dry quickly and be cooler than acrylic yarn. What do you think?
