    Hi my name is Lena Tucker I'm newly retired. I would like to learn how to crochet. I know how to chain but I don't know how to read patterns, if you can help me I would really appreciate it.

    Hi Lena welcome to crochet talk the happiest and best crocheters anywhere!! Try going to Amazon if you are not signed up, sign up it is free. Then type in the search box "free crochet books" then just load them on your computer or IPad, tablet whatever you have. Oh make sure it is for beginners!! Hope this helps you out Lena.     Hi Lena! Welcome to CT and the wonderful world of being retired. Crocheting became a hobby of mine after I retired 5 years ago.. I used YouTube videos to teach myself. Retirement is the world's best kept secret! Enjoy yours!
