I am new to posting, I love to crochet, I have been doing some sort of crafting, since, I was very young, ( a long time ago ). First thing I learned was making yo yo,s , from my grandmother, then a neighbor lady taught me how to knit, from there, I found a interest in cooking, then I got married and my mother-in-law taught me how to sew, after a short time we adopted a baby, and I wanted to make something for his room so I took a class, in ceramics. and made him a lamp. after a while, we adopted a little girl, and then I became Ill, diagnosis Lupus! very depressed, I needed to get out of the house, so I took a class in Tole painting. I was very good , so after a while started to teach, and then I found out , no not LUPUS, Fibromyalgia, lots of pain, couldn't work I started Quilting, love it!!, Fell and broke my right leg, couldn't sew, so I started to knit, and then my husband of 43 years passed away suddenly, needed something new to learn to keep my mind busy, just recently became engaged to my high school sweetheart, life is good, I now have instead of 2 children 6 and instead of 1 grand child I have 6 and we were just blessed with our 1st, greatgrand child she is the reason I started to crochet, I made her some lovely things for the shower, I am looking for a christening gown pattern, hard to find, would like some help, if someone has a pattern to share, it would be very much welcomed. thanks for listening to my rambeling. hope I didn't bore you, would love any help or information any of you might have sincerely Sharon

Welcome to the forum. I have Lupus and so far I'm able to stay ahead of it! I know the depression all too well! Sorry to hear about your other problems. But you have definately come to the right place!
