Hello All
I thought I was posting this hello earlier but I could not find it so I'm trying again.
I used to crochet years ago and got away from it but within the last 6 months I found free patterns on line and have started to crochet again. I have since made a jacket, made with Peaches n' Creme 100% cotton, a shawl, bathing suit cover-up and now I'm working on a hooded cape. I can't believe how much yarn cost now! I wanted to make the hooded cape with 100% wool but could not afford to buy it. Does anyone out there know where we can get quality yarn at a reasonable price? If you do PLEASE contact me with the information. I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Karen and welcome to Crochet Talk! I often purchase yarn online from: KnitPicks.com : Knitting Yarn, Books, Patterns, Needles & Accessories
Knitpicks has great prices and they often have sales.
Again, welcome to the forum!

Thank you so much for the information. I'm going to go check it out. On another note...I've been having problems logging on and sending a message to report the problem. I was checking my e-mail and found 2 from this site saying someone from another IP address was trying to log onto my account. Have you had any problems like this? I would like to stay on the site but if it's not secure I will have to remove myself.

I'm checking out KnitPick.com and I'm on the yarn comparison page. I have a question. I was wondering what do they mean by "Put Up"?
Thank you for all your help.
