Hi I'm Eva & I'm new to this board. I have crocheted for about 60 years , since I was a child. I am left handed so the only one that could teach me was my left handed Mom & she couldn't read patterns. So she just taught me to crochet edgings on pillow cases. Later I got some patterns & learned to read & follow them. I have done doilies, chair sets , table cloths, baskets & afghans & whatever else you can crochet. Now I would like to learn Tunisian Crochet. I hope I'll get to know lots of crocheters & lots of new ideas.

Hello and welcome to Crochet Talk. We are excited that you are joining us. I am left handed also. I didn't have anyone to teach me so over a year ago I started watching videos on YouTube to learn how to crochet. Any questions you may have we will do all we can to answer them for you. Looking forward to getting to know you better.

Thanks Larisa & Debbie for the nice welcome.Larisa you must have a lot of doilies or doily ideas & Debbie it's nice to meet someone else that's left handed & crochets.You tube is really something. My daughter learned how to knit that way. I have been watching them to learn Tunisian crochet. I would just like some patterns I could do. I am also a quilter & I belong to a Quilting Club.We are having our Quilt Show on May the 24th. I got into quilting after the crocheting , but still love them both.

You are more then welcome. It is great to meet you. I have not came across too many left handed crocheters. That is the reason why I learned from left handed videos on YouTube. I don't know anyone close that could teach me to crochet.
