patern for a simple car seat blanket

Hello everyone, I started a very simple double crochet car seat blanket awhile ago & now I have no idea where I had gotten the pattern from. It is double crochet and it starts from the bottom up with a split opening on the bottom, I assume it is to allow for the bottom clasp. ten rows deep and then I completed another nine rows of double crochet where I left off. I think there should be openings for the belt soon but I have no idea what comes next. Thanks, any help would be appreciated. Pat
