How to read patterns
My name is teresa and I'm in louisiana. I was taught to crochet by looking at a finished peace of work. I want to learn how to read patterns so I can make what ever pattern that appeals to me. Would appreciate advice. Thank you so much.

Because crochet patterns are written using many abbreviations and terms, which save space and make patterns easier to read. So the first thing you need to do is become familiar with the abbreviations and terms. Check out this site. http://www.crochetnmore.com/123readapattern.htm
It will explain the abbreviations and terms. I hope this helps. Remember to come back and ask any questions you might have. Good Luck.
