Hello!!! As this is my first conversation with you folks I am not quite sure what to say....I have crocheted for years on and off. Busy now making prayer shawls for our church...I try to do one a week. I would like to try to make some doilies...does anyone have some simple patterns to start me off???

Welcome from Cincinnati, Ohio! You may want to check for simple doily patterns on Pinterest. There are lots of them there. Also, our member, Larisa makes wonderful doilies.
