I my name is Becky and I love to crochet. My grandmother taught me to knit on 2 pencils at a very early age and then the crocheting followed naturally.

I taught myself on 2 pencils too. I was 17 and didn't have the money to buy yarn. My hubby was in Air Force.
I had trouble with the lead marks getting on the yarn but I wouldn't give up until I learned. I kept taking it out and redoing it as I
only had some yarn a neighbor had giving me. I was always afraid to tell anyone. I figured they would think I was
crazy. So glad to see someone else learned that way. Thank you for bring it out.
