Looking for a Snood
Years ago when my daughter was a young girl, I found a pattern for a snood. I don't even possess the snood itself for a picture.
I can tell you that it was a long crocheted piece. I used a ribbon to loop through all the ends to form a circle to hold it in place. I did crochet
with thread and not yarn. I wish I could find a picture of this.
Can anyone make heads or tails out of what I'm trying to describe??
Thanks In Advance.Lealismamaw

I know what you are talking about. It usually covered what I call a "bun". I made one years and years ago when I had long hair and would pull it up. I don't remember if I had used a pattern or just winged it or even if it was yarn or thread, most likely yarn, since I am more of a yarnie.
I just did a google search for free patterns for crocheted snoods and this is what popped up. Maybe it can be of some help.

Thank you LI ROE... I did find some patterns on the website that you provided. However, I didn't find the one that I had used many years ago. But I did find one that I will make.
I will hopefully run upon that other one some day. Thanks Again.Lealismamaw
