Newbie
Well, literally speaking, I'm an oldie! But I'm new to this site. We live in Caldwell, Idaho. I love to crochet, knit, & do a bit of art work. My hubby & I lived for 7/8 years in our 30' fifth wheel w/1 slide, with our Great Dane, Boudica. We just sold it 3 days ago. We lost our Great Dane, got a toy poodle named Basil, (pronounced the British way), & we bought a fixer upper a year & a half ago. We're still fixing, but we love this home! After living in the 5th wheel, this place is quite huge to us! Anyway, nice to be here & to see some of your lovely work. Cin

New to Crochet Talk.
Hi all. I'm looking forward to visiting with other members of the Forum and learning much about the art of crocheting. I have mainly concentrated on knitting, but now I am returning to crocheting after many, many years. I remember crocheting doilies with my mother back in the fifties. She taught me a lot, and I still have many happy memories of us working together.

I taught myself to knit & crochet about 22/23 years ago. I really enjoy them both. I just made my very first doily about a month ago. I really prefer to use larger thread/yarn, as I can knit or crochet without looking, once I get the pattern down. But with the little thread, I have to look.
