My retirement anniversary today
March 27, 1999 was the official date that I retired from the phone company with an enhanced retirement package. They were trying to get the "old-timers" to retire and at the ripe old age of 47, I jumped at the chance and never looked back. Love being home, but sometimes I wonder where the time goes. I remember laughing at retired people (but in a nice way) when they would say they didn't have the time to do what they wanted to do. It wasn't until I retired that I saw what they meant. Now I am one of them. LOL!!
So to celebrate, I am off to buy myself a retirement present or two or three. Can you guess?
My name is LI Roe and I am a yarnoholic.

Thank you all. I did buy some yarn but online (had a free shipping code) and made a list of dvds. Heck, we have to treat ourselves and doing stuff on the house (emergency and cosmetic) doesn't quite cut it. LOL.
Gee, what should I put in my Easter Basket???
Have a great day everyone.
