I've been visiting this site for some time but decided it was time to introduce myself. I started crocheting when I was a teenager, but then got away from it while raising a family. Now that I am retired, I crochet all the time. afghans are my favorite and have several put up in my closet which I give a way for special occasions. I have really enjoyed seeing the projects that everyone shows on here.
