Crochet alphabet

[Rogue Hobbies]

I have found a couple of patterns for crocheted letters but I didn't like them. I need them to be less than 2 inches tall per letter and I prefer each letter to be in one piece if possible. I did not like the red heart alphabet patterns. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you Barbara. Most of them are for filet crochet. I need to be able to crochet the letters separately so that I can sew them into the blanket afterwards. I want a more professional look than using the tapestry needle to embroider the letters in. The last link that you gave references a site that has this but the pictures are not on the site anymore, at least for me. Unfortunately, unless I try these letters from the last link to test them out, none of these is what I am looking for. I am afraid I'm going to have to settle for embroidering the letters in. Thank you very much for your help though!
