Profile Picture

I'm usually pretty handy with computers and uploading pics, but I've tried twice and failed. one was too large so I tried a tiny one.
What am I doing wrong please?

There is a profile picture and an avatar picture which will show up with your posts in the forums to the left. If you want to email the photo to me at crochettalkhelp@gmail.com I will be glad to add it for you. Just let me know if you want the picture on both places, or if you send two different photos which you want to go where. Feel free to post if you have more questions.
