    blocking

I am crocheting an infant dress in #10 cotton. I have never worked with #10 cotton before. Would anyone suggest blocking when the dress is completed?
I just get a bit scared to block thinking I am going to miss-shape the project.

I am not an expert in blocking completed projects yet, I have only done it a couple of times with doilies, but I would think that if it has that much weight on it, it might not need to be blocked. I may be wrong, so don't take me at my word unless others agree with me, but that is my way of thinking.

Hiya Teri, I'm not an expert in blocking either.. I am doing a bolero in thread and it looks like it may need be blocked.. I have to agree with rogue, I think it would depend on the weight.. I'm sure your dress will be beautiful and I hope you will post it when completed... Teresa
