Hello from Connecticut

Hi, I am from Northeastern Connecticut. I have been crocheting for over forty years. I also own a knitting machine and often combine the two forms of needlework when making big projects. I love and appreciate all kinds of handwork but crochet is (by far) my first love. I love to play with patterns to make them my own creations.

I am looking forward to meeting you all here. If there is anyone from CT., I am in Willimantic but work full time in Somers.

Hiya Forgetmenot, I'm not from CT., but my husband is from Simsbury.. I think it is just so quaint and beautiful there.. I love it.. We are planning a trip in April and I am so very excited.. Welcome to the forum. I am addicted to doilies

I love designing shawls, afghans, hats, scarves, and anything else I can dream up. I have not spent time learning how to read a diagram pattern so have not done too much with doilies but I love the work others do with crochet thread. Thank you for the welcome.
