    Is anyone...?

Is anyone afraid of their roof collapsing and ruining their yarn?

I don't have that big of a stash yet, and I have them in rubber maid tubs with lids on them. AND I live in central Florida. So I'm not faced with all the snow on the roof as a lot of people are. But I am very picky about what gets placed next to my yarn, pets, air fresheners, etc. So yes, I'm a little neurotic about it.

what about those of you who live in cold climates. Your hands get dry and chapped. So do you think like me that my hands better not bleed cause I want to crochet?

Do you have a humidifier? You will be surprised how much it helps. My Dr. told me to get one years ago because I had cronic broncitis. But found it keeps me from getting chapped hands also.

Never thought about it but the majority is in my basement, in two closets in the basement and in one spare bedroom. You don't want to know how much yarn, trust me. LOL!!!

    Hi MeerKat,
I filled up the humidifier and I'll turn it on tonight but I sleep with my hands under the blankets so how would a humidifier help unless I had my hands outside of the blankets? I'm always putting lotion on at night.
