I really want to make one of these for myself and smaller ones for the grandchildren, but I have to finish the christening layette for my great-granddaughter whose due in March. I have the dress and blanket done, but the booties don't look like booties, they look like a pouch, there's no shape to them, I' m gonna frog one more time, if that doesn't work I'll have to do a different pattern. It has a love knot edging but I'm sure I can work that out. Also I read somewhere about wetting paper towels and putting them inside the bootie to shape it, whatever works.
