New to "Crochet Talk"

[Hi Everyone:

Today I decided to sign up for "Crochet Talk" It has just been in the last few months that I have become interested in crocheting. I like the idea of long chains of looped stitches and wrapped threads that are created with just a hook, producing elaborately lacy stitch patterns that I as a knitter couldn’t imagine was possible. I have accomplished a few projects from Drops design, which I hope to share with anyone who might be interested. With this being said I do find some projects in crocheting a challenge, which is why I have signed up with “Crochet Talk”. I am hoping that this will be a fantastic way for me to learn new techniques and tricks, to share completed projects, and enjoy interacting with a community of people who share a passion for learning

Hi I am new to crochet talk but not to crocheting. I taught myself with the help of a book to crochet over 50 years ago. I was told about 30 years ago that I crochet backwards. but that is ok because I am kind of a backwards person. I have recently started crocheting again and in some ways it is just like being new to it. I have to look up how to make different kind of stitches.
I am presently making a ripple afghan for my son for the 14 Christmas. I have already finished granny square Christmas stocking for 5 christmas gifts. I have found a couple of patterns for afghans I want to make for my daughter and daughter in law. Happy fingers make for a happy time.

some Cashier who gets cold around neck. Made with Caron yarn--so soft0 You check Mikes Video on c2c out its a good one. Nice week-end.
