    What Material was used to make this dish scrubbie?

    A friend gave me this dish scrubbie, and I LOVE it! It works really well on everything, and doesn't scratch ... but I can't figure out what was used for the yarn. (She bought it at a Senior Center Fundraiser, so is not able to consult with the person who made it). Any ideas?
