Well, Valentine's Day is just a few days away! What are you doing for the holiday?

Nothing really planned... the hubby is currently out of work {he is in the tree service, so it's seasonal work}, so we are tight on money. With it being so cold still, I'd rather stay in my nice warm home and just watch a movie and cuddle.

I think we will have a special supper. My husband has a pesticide meeting in the afternoon and I have an eye appt. So, will probably stay in and cook. The grocery store having great specials on seafood, sounds kind of good right now, otherwise will just grab something from the freezer and make a nice meal. We rarely go out to eat, my husband feels we can cook better food at home for much less the price. LOL Anyway....Happy Valentine's Day to all my crochet talk friends!

At this point today (Thurs) the snow is coming down fast and furious, then supposedly changing to rain, then back to snow late today into overnight. Oh no!!! So probably will be not only shoveling today (Thurs) but Friday as well.

We've been visiting with my husband's sister & brother-in-law in Florida since Monday. We are planning on taking them out for a nice Valentine's dinner. She has been cooking for us, so we want to give her a night off! I will be doing some of the cooking too, but haven't yet. (We got through Georgia one day before the bad snowstorm hit there! What a Blessing!)

I guess we will be staying in because of all the snow we got. We ended up with 21 inches here at our house so we are stuck. We have a 4 wheel drive truck but the snow is up over the bumper so can't take it out. We did plan to have a date night so will have to put it off until next weekend.
