Thanks for the heads up. I would've never guessed handmade sellers are required by law to have the same labels. Wonder how many people on Etsy conform to this?

We had to have a license to go to craft shows. I just keep my up in case I ever decide to back to it.

wonder how long until Canada does that.....we don't need any labelling here for any items, even baking, if you have an allergy or preference, you simply ask the vendor about it.....same with knitting and crochet...sometimes you see something labelled but that is usually because they used a more expensive yarn to make it and are justifiying the price. Same goes for jewelry.....I don't have to label what I used for wires and posts and such....just have to know if they ask, but I usually have hypo-allergenic and more expensive metals marked

Wow! This never even crossed my mind. Thanks so much for the heads up. Guess I'll be designing more labels today!
