    Measuring Help!

I know my wonderful crochet sisters will help me out with this.....

I need head measurements for kids.
    1. the age of the child or baby
    2. the circumference around the forehead
    3. the length from the top-back of the head (where the top of a beanie would be) to the bottom of the ear

I'm making beanie hats in-the-round for homeless kids and have no idea how big around and how deep to make them since I'm using a variety of yarns.

    Thank You!!

Hiya DonnaJN, The majority of patterns I have made for beanies are free.. Just about all of them give you a pattern for children and adults.. What I do is, just add a few extra stitches to each row. There are many sites for this. ( I just search for free crochet patterns for family beanies or hats...) If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to ask.. Teresa

Thanks teresah. I have the patterns, but keep using different yarns so all I need are the measurements.
